    I read, on a reply to one dishwasher question, that you under no circumstances should you lay the machine on its side or turn it upside down.
    As I’ve done both of these while removing the circulation pump, what traumas am I like to suffer????

    Generally speaking, you may have got water, brine or rinse-aid into places they shouldn’t be 😉

    Will this not “sort itself out” when I refit the pump and run it a few times???

    Should do……… Run a few rinses before setting it off for a wash. Next time, lay it on its back.
