Lots of possible causes, as a Creda machine can be original Creda, Hotpoint 9500, WM, WMA, or even Indesit based the model number would be a big help, all apart from the 9500/WM machines are completely different.
Overloading, obstructions in outer drum, splits in drum welds or joints, loose drum paddles, drums damaged by coins etc, etc.

IF ITS A PLASTIC TUB FRONT, FEEL AROUND THE EDGE BETWEEN INNER DRUM AND TUB FRONT, IF ITS ROUGH THERES THE CAUSE, HOPE THIS HELPS, ITS A PROBLEM THAT APPEARED WITH PASTIC DRUMS, BUCKLE OR SOMETHING GETS CAUGHT DOWN THERE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TUB FRONT.

thanks iadom and john i know the model number would have helped all i know its a creda simplicty and i think when i replaced the door seal it was a over sized one and the wire band that went around the seal went into a plate with metal teeth like a rachet dont know if that will trow any more light on the subject or not fasetester 🙂

The ratchet type door gasket clamp is fitted to the newer Hotpoint WMA’s – therefore as the Creda is merely a clone of the WMA, the most likely candidate is a damaged or missing drum lifter as Jim said earlier.
