Participantgot a wash belt from local supplier, it stated it was for a 1450. he checked suitability for a 1460 and its ok to fit on a 1460,
belt seems about half inch to short,
i have tried loosening bolts on motor and removed wash pump out the way to fit belt, it does go on but is extremely tight and prevents motor from turning.any one know if ive got the right belt?
thanks ally

Belt is exactly the same for 1450/1460. A lot of the later non gen belts were very tight and in some instances just to tight to work.

But if the non gen one knackers the pump, as they often did then it is false economy.

That belt was often to tight, I tried the odd one and soon realised it was a waste of time.
If the machine is still in reasonable condition then make sure you use a gen belt or one that is not overtight.Jim.
