    Hi, just wondering…I know there is a maintenance wash that could be done for washing machines from the articles in this website….is there a maintenance wash recommended for dishwashers?

    Or should I use one of those Finish liquid things once a month to clean the dishwasher (they are pretty expensive!)??

    My advice would be to run the Finish cleaner through the dishwasher every few months, I don’t see nor have I found any requirement to do it more regularly than that.

    I don’t know how it compares to the Finish cleaner, but we do stock our own cleaner/degreaser which you can get from this link

    The low cost supermarket “Aldi” sells a shrink-wrapped pack of two, for around the £2.00 mark, under their own label:”Magnum”

    These are manufactured in Poland and smell identical to “Finish”. I suspect that both brands come from the same factory.
