Can anyone please advise how to get to the switch on the DC05 without breaking anything?
For a while the switch didn’t always lock on and today the machine stopped working during a very short period of operation. I can trace power up to the machine and over the switch area with a voltage detector and as there were no funny motor sounds before it stopped assume the switch to be the problem.
Any advice welcome, and yes I’m aware of safe isolation.

    Many thanks
    Steve

The DC05 has only a single screw which after removing does not obviously show what has been released?
As far as safety reasons are concerned, I am a qualified electrician so could you email me privately with some dismantling tips?
    Thanks

Prise the wheels off! It’s obvious from there 😉

The general warnings about safety aren’t just for you. They’re for the next people that read this thread, long after your gone. So, remember to unplug the machine before any maintainance.
