ParticipantHi out there,
My Indesit DI620 (Integrated) dishwasher is not working! 🙁
A few months back, I realised that the machine had got ‘stuck’ mid-cycle – omitting just a low buzzing noise. When I reset the program and started it again, it stopped and leds 1 and 2 were flashing. I checked that water was pumping in and draining away and there did seem to be a problem. I cleaned out all the filter jobbies, and it seemed to clear the problem.
The problem has now reoccurred but slightly different this time, and with inconsistent results. It gets stuck again, and omits the low buzzing noise, but it is pumping in water and draining out but sometimes the cycle just stops and the led remains (non-flashing) on the program I set it on. Other times, it doesn’t even start. Other times, if I set it on program 4, when it gets stuck on the buzzing, I open it up and it’s on program 2. And other times, it stops (or doesn’t even start) and Leds 1 and 2 are flashing again. I’ve cleaned out the filters again, and even put a cleaner through it (or tried to for as long as the cycle runs) but still no joy.
Anyone got any ideas? I’d rather try and sort this out before getting an engineer out to site… 🙂
Many thanks!

Hi shellington, neons 1+2 indicate a drain problem, you may have an obstruction in the drain pump or the pump itself may be faulty. Pump blockages are very common on these low budget machines, the filter is not the best design and if you do not rinse your dishes before you put them in the machine then pump blockages will occur.
If you intend to investigate further, please remove the mains plug before putting your hands inside. 😉
