    Can anyone help?? 😯
My double built in oven is not heating at all in the bottom (main) oven.
I have checked the element resistances and they all appear correct (comparing them to the top oven). I pressumed that the stat was faulty and therefore ordered one………….doh! 😳 not the stat, made no difference.
The fan is working and the light.

I checked the voltage (I am conversant with electrics) across the element. and there is none! (The top oven element has mains accross the terminals). Can this still be a dodgy element?

Any help would be appreciated and my get the wife off my back!!

    Thanks Darren

Were resistances checked with wires off? Elements usually work or not. Power may not be getting to them from switchgear. Remove power completely before diagnosis. Please do not test live. Or Repairs@ for an engineer.

Looking at other threads, I didnt check the Fan Element…in fact I didnt know it was there.
Is it more likely to be this?

If so is it fairly straight forward to remove?

This is a multifunction oven – you should get heat in one postion at least. If you have no heat at all, there is a thermal safety cut-out which may have failed, or the function selector switch may be faulty.

The element is this one, if you need it:
