Hello folks, I have damaged a friends hob by chipping the edge of it. 😳 Is it possible to get the glass as a spare? I can get a new hob complete for £190 (unless anyone can do better). So, can the glass be bought separately for less than £190…? AND… is is a striaght swop or do you need some adhesive made from kryptonite to hold it in place, (it has no edge trim, the glass is bevel edged.

To be honest it’s probably going to be more cost effective to buy a new one, a replacement glass will rarely cost less than about £150 plus VAT and shipping. 🙁

    Hi

Connect show the glass as £248.00 rrp
As you say it is a touch control hobb , the same type of hobb is going to be very expensive.
