It is a Hotpoint Whirlpool Mistral Frost Fridge Freezer, I cannot find any other details- the error is E& not E3 ! Sorry!

The model number will be inside the fridge next to or behind the salad bin(s).

It can’t be a Whirlpool and a Hotpoint, they are two different manufacturers 😉

Please let us have accurate information and we will try and help 🙂

    Dave.

Sorry for the delay I have a poorly daughter! The make is hotpoint and the label says
    R134A
    g 104
    Model number FF92P
I phoned the manufacturers who want £100 (just under) to fix it or £150 for a year’s guarantee BUT as it is in the garage a guarantee would be exempt anyway. I’m not sure if i should buy new or fix 🙁
