ParticipantHi all,
Our Bosch dishwasher (sorry exact model not known. About 4 years old and has Logixx Auto Option at the top and Max Freedom printed on the bottom) has started behaving strangely.
1. The timings for all the washes appear to of increased so that the two hottest washes take 186 minutes.
2. The wash phase never appears to end on any of the cycles, and if stopped the water in the bottom is dirty.
3. Opening the door and closing it again resets it back to the full time, and not the rough time it was at before.
3. Pressing reset drains the water, but thats all.
Any ideas what might be the problem?
Thanks
C

Open the door, and look at the top edge of the door inner, near the catch. You should see an etched model number beginning SGS*****GB/**. This is what the engineers on this forum require.
Is the wash water hot? How far up the tub does the water level reach? (ie; it should fill to the bottom of the salt reservoir cap).
If it does not reach this level, there could be a blockage in the water metering section.
Search for Bosch fill problems; there are plenty of postings about this condition, and its remedy.

Likely as not the ‘Instanteneous Heater Unit’ has failed and will require replacing? Have you thoroughly cleaned the filters and the base of the sump to ensure no food deposits lying about? Also you may like to clean the water inlet transfer tube using a small bottle brush. It’s located in the 6 o’clock position in the sump, you will find a small hole that goes to the left hand side. Clean that first to be sure…. 😉
Expert help to sort it for you? (see link below) 🙂
