The sustomer reported dryer runs but no heat. Failed to mention that machine display showed F13. On checking the two stats on the heater unit, BOTH read open circuit. Replaced these. machine runs, no heat, and displays F13. Does anyone know what this means, please?

Yep, but then I took the trouble to read the Known error codes thread, 😉

Thanks for replies. So I looked on page 4 of “known fault codes” and sure enough, in Iadoms post we learn that this fault is most likely caused by the rear NTC. At the risk of displaying my ignorance, what, and where is this exactly? I will take another look tomorrow or saturday. I have a
fe eling that the NTC may be one of the “thermostats” I referred to earlier. Oh the joys of modern technology!

I fear it is one of the ones you have already changed, the other options referred to in the error codes could finish up as a duff module. 😥

Idid hear the pump running. The machine has two stats mounted above the heater. whether it has another mounted elsewhere I am not sure at this stage.
