    Novice DIY-er asks: can i remove a mains gas cooker myself? IF so

    – How?

    -how much to pay someone else to do it (roughly?)

    If it’s on a baynot connection yes.

    If it’s hard piped, not advised although there is no legal mechanisim stopping you from doing so. That said, it could prove dangerous.

    Expect about £50-70 to do it if required as a very rough guide.
