Following my recent posting & the helpful reply, I managed to remove my whirlpool oven door & get the broken hinges out.
My new hinges have just arrived but I’m struggling to fit them… the bit that needs to pivot doesn’t move. I probably need to do something to release it? Any advice appreciated on the steps required. Many Thanks.

You need to lever the arm down and slip the catch into place. Two people and a pair of Mole grips is often the best way………

Job done!! Very pleased, as managed it by my 7.5 stone self!!
This site is fab… without the advice from you guys, I’d have probably got myself a nice big bill from a repair man.
