    Hi,
I’ve looked on you site for a heating element for our washer:
WF02866GB/01, but cannot find an exact reference to it.

Could you confirm which part I need?

Also, I’ve taken the bottom off the washer, but could not work out how to remove the element (i’m guessing it’s the bit encases in plastic at the bottom of the drum with about 3 or 4 wires going to it that easily unclip off.

How do you go about removing it?

Finally, the question I should probably have asked first! I’m guessing it’s probably the heating element that is the problem as hour washer spends 3 hours on the washing cycle before getting to the rinse/spin cycles. If I drain the water mid cycle, it’s clap cold!

Any help greatly appriciated, as I’ve just lost my job and can’t really afford to get somebody in if I can help it.

    Cheers
    Andrew

Heater is p/no 265961. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly.

However if you have not tested the element for resistance/earth leakage you are guessing, which is an expensve way to repair a machine.

    Power off at all times,

How do I go about testing the element for resistance/earth leakage. I’ve got a multimeter which I guess is required?

With the very greatest of respect, why have you got a multimeter if you don’t know how to check resistance or insulation. 😕
