Washer played up this morning. After a rest and pressing at random various button sequences, it appears to be behaving.
Is this an indication it is on the way to the scrap yard?
It played up by filling and then only agitating in 2-3 second spurts. It maintained that for a couple of minutes then began beeping continuously. Lamps on the 9 and 3 minute were illuminated as well as the amber and red at the end of the wash sequence line of lamps. Also the two bottom lamps of the spin lights were illuminated. Modifying the fill level from Auto to manual prompted sporadic filling for 2-3 second bursts. Water pumped out fine but spin was also sporadic 2 second bursts. it was the same for all wash options.

    Thanks in Advance,

No I shall amend that – it is still playing up. Is it possible that the wrong valve was replaced recently bcs since then it feels as though it has been filling not as quickly as in the past.
As best as i could follow the sequence for the diagnostic it is either 123, 43 or 83

123 ain’t a valid code and 83 is rather unlikely with the symptoms….

43 is the out of balance switch, which is a regular culprit. Switch and arm is under the top deck and suffers from corrosion and switch failure as well as dampness. While the top is off, check that the bias spring is fitted in the front left corner, otherwise the switch will be getting tripped on a nuisance basis.
