    We have an Indesit WIL103, 1000 spin which is about 18 months old. Recently a number of the programmes stop after the wash cycle with LED 1 (the Delay Timer) and LED 5 (the Door Lock) flashing rapidly (no sequence just a continual flashing). We have to switch the machine off; manually select the rinse program and start it again to finish the wash. The hot wash program doesn’t suffer the same problem, and works fine. Any ideas as to what this could be?

    You have the dreaded 8 flash or F08 fault. I have personally stopped going out to any Indesit with F08, a very hit and miss fault to cure that has left me out of pocket on far to many occasions.

    If you use the search facility at the top of this page and type in,
    Indesit AND eight AND flashes, exactly like that you will see what I mean. 😥

    Thanks iadom for your quick reply. In the back of my mind, I had a feeling this was not going to be straight forward. Think I better start looking for another, better quality machine.
