    Hi
    Ive got the above problem with my machine. It fills/empties normally, but just doesn’t spin.
    Replaced the brushes a few times to fix this previously, but this time new brushes did not make any difference.
    Could it be a motor problem ? It’s about 10yrs now, time for a new machine ?

    i would check the wiring at the motor plug first.
    plug out obviously.

    There is a safety TOC in-line with the brushes – this can fail on old motors. If you meter across the socket, you are looking for 5-10 ohms. If it has failed, you will need an armature (ARM20) and cutout (TOC17). spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply both of these for you if required.

    Power off, before touching anything……….
