    Hi Folks

Has anyone got a wiring diagram for above cooker? Got no live supply to grill elements when on grill (dual stat) although grill elements ok and work ok on top oven stat..

Got a live feed at grill stat but live feed out goes to what looks like a relay board at bottom rear of cooker just above the terminal block – this looks like it feeds the cooling and oven fan..

If no wiring diagram any suggestions as not sure if this is a grill stat prob or top oven stat prob – does this relay board just supply the fans or is it anything to do with the missing live at the grill?

Oh yes.. when I tested at grill terminals on both element setting just seemed to get all neutrals there?.. Normally can suss these out but the circuit wiring looked odd..

    Thanks

    Mick

Hmmm.. no replies to this as yet… 🙁 .. think you all must be on hols or worked off your feet…thought there might be someone out there with access to wiring diag or might have helped out with a suggestion..

Suspect top oven stat selector as no live to grill elements but didn’t want to fit to just test if someone knows different or I could prove one way or other..

    Thanks

    Hi Mick,

Had a look as I do have a few diagrams for this Generation of oven, but no luck I am afraid.
Have you checked the changeover switch on the grill door- very troublesome?.
    Regards,
    Mike.

Hmm.. Didn’t notice a switch on the door.. did thought I’d looked for anything like that but may have missed it due to live feed from stat going off to relay board annd trying to suss what that was all about.. will have to pop back and check.. thanks for that info mike.. any idea which side it is fitted?

Is there a selector switch on Top-Oven stat? Just an idea most grills are also controlled via top oven selector switch, but not sure of this one,,

    Hi Mick,

I had a look at Connect mediator and it shows a door microswitch on the parts list. Its usually on the right hand side of the cooker.

    Good Luck,
    Mike

There is no switch on the grill door, only one on the main oven door.

It’ll almost certainly be the contacts in the changover switch which are part of the top oven stat, that is part number 6201876.

The PCB (trigger board) controls the cooling fan.

Is that the same one as used in the Hotpoint EW61 Dave?

Yep, it’s the same part number and basically the same cooker 🙂

Managed to get manual from Hotpoint for this and eventually sorted. what with customer away on hols and that… was the grill stat

.. although still cant see why as had two live feeds at stat unless one of them was a back feed.. anyway new grill simerstat sorted it

Anyway thanks for all the help folks

    Mick
