Re: IW812 error 39 and error 40
Two possibilities.
1) The air hose which operates the water level control is damaged in some way. It may be pinched, trapped or holed. It is possible that the air pressure chamber is partially blocked. If you disconnect the hose, it is essential that you drain the machine entirely before reconnecting. If the hose is damaged, you’ll have to spend a couple of dollars in the hardware store for some plastic tubing.
2) The level switch itself is faulty. This is integral with the computer board and yes, you’re looking at a big bill.
Providing that the water does actually shut of eventually, the air hose/chamber is more likely to be the problem.
