Participanthi all i have been to 2 customers in 2 days. first was a indesit dryer, guy complained of no heat went to house where he informed me he had changed belt himself and wires came off timer so he has been guessing with combinations and can i sort it as he has went thru about 10 fuses ❗ .i declined.
the second a belling cooker not heating.great arrived went in kitchen and the cooker was in a million bits he had taken elements out top off sides off etc etc and took them to a local shop for testing, but where fine so he was stuck.i asked why he had even attempted this as he had no knowledge of basic testing his answer it didnt look hard when it was repaired a few years back 👿 .

A few years ago I went to a fridge that wasnt getting cold although the compressor was running.Where the freezer box should have been was a cut off pipe.It turned out he’d bought a small chest freezer and because he didnt need the one in the fridge he’d cut it out so he could get more beer in and then wondered why it didnt work-idiot!

It’s the hose dis-connectors I don’t like and it’s always when there’s plenty length on the hoses anyway. Never had anyone dis-connect the water hoses when they’re too short and need to be dis-connected.
Had one today with the washing machine in the middle of the kitchen floor with all hoses removed and I’m there to find a small leak .
Small connection tax charge on the bill 🙂
