I have a Bosch WIM 3410 GB/01 washing machine, had it for just over 9 years.
Over the past week when it comes to the spin programme it just clicks and doesn’t spin. except on a couple of occassions. Since yesterday it now just doesn’t spin or drain at all. I have opened/cleaned the filter area. When there is water left in the machine and I undo the filter the water seems to be coming through, but fails to go out again therefore not draining.
Would appreciate some help as to how to resolve this.

No drain = No spin.
You may have some debris that is jamming the pump impeller and/or blockage internally or where drain hose evacuates; but after nine years of action I would imagine the pump is getting a bit tired IMO.

Drain pump sticking. Usually noisy before it goes. Does it spin when empty?

doesn’t spin when empty, (just turns a couple of rounds and there was no undue noise before this happened

After a good filter clean, started the machine again (without any clothes) it will now spin but not drain. Do you think I have narrowed down to anything.

Pump impellor is behind the filter when removed.
The impeller should when turned “twang” every quarter turn.
Have a good luck in the housing aswell for anything trying to hide.

Well I think you have narrowed it down to a drain/ pump problem and not a module/motor problem 😀

Whats my next move, do you think the conatainer might need a good clean, is there any way of knowing if the pump is faulty, or there is not question it is the pump

We if you have checked filter,hoses and drain hose exit (and your plumbing) then the pump is suspect no1.
Without seeing it myself this is the best I can advise 😀
Unplug appliance if you are to investigate appliance internally :plug:Greg
thanks Greg, could you please tel me where the pump is located I am on Bosch site, and looking at th emanual but cant find the pump-drain
