    This dishwasher has got the 4th light from the left continually flashing, i cannot reset it or clear this, have looked in fault codes but nothing about 4th light flashing. can any one help with this as it is a well built in appliance and i would like to only take it out once

    SMEG……… 4th lamp flashing is not an error code. It usually means that the computer is corrupted, often by problems with the soap dispenser solenoid.

    Could be dooor lock rolled over, machine in door closed mode.

    Thanks for the replys. It is not the door lock rolled over as this is opening and shuting correctly. If it is the computer corrupted does that mean a new PCB and soap dispenser.

    Expense………
    PCB (Timer) is £93 from Masterpart (816290672).
    Dispenser is £24 (812890054). The cheapy SM16100 is still OOS.

    I get about 50/50 on these – some come back to life with the new dispenser, and some don’t.

    Not sure what Mark’s succeess rate is?

    Thanks for your help Chris I will have to price the job for both parts. But as you said OOS from masterpart

    Thanks for all the help fitted soap dispenser and electronics all fine until today when she phoned to say it had stopped again. When i looked at machine the 5th from left light is flashing and i cannot reset the programme. the original fault was 4th light flashing. Can anyone help with this light flahing as nothing for this in error codes
