    Hello,
    Freezer is about 3 years old. started beeping which went off when the fast freeze button is pressed. Defrosted the freezer and could not get it to start again. Then after leaving off for a week took it out from under the worktop and turned it on. It beeped again which stopped when the fast freeze was pressed. Suspect thermostat but could not locate it. What do you think and if thermostat where is it?

    There are two versions of this appliance – one uses a conventional thermostat the other an electronic equivalent – I think you have the latter but could you post the serial number of the appliance to clarify. It should start with 99 or 200

    To anyone with same problem. Asked UK white goods spares for thermostat price and quoted model serial number. My model does not have seperate thermostat and is operated via circuit board under pannel on the top of appliance. My freezer now works fine. Part cost approx £50. You can get one here:

    Worth a go maybe but best to check with spares dept for correct part.
