I have a brand new AEG electric ceramic hob, model number 66201 KF-N, which is the first ceramic hob I have ever used.
I’ve been using the hob for two weeks and although I am very careful when placing pots on the hob, a few very tiny spots of the black enamel paint on the hob have come off (sorry if that is the wrong term I am saying!)
Is their any advice anyone could give me to avoid this happening further?
Also is their any product out their that can restore these tiny black enamel spots?
Appreciate anyone’s help!

Hi Doron
you will probably find that its not enamal but burnt spots of spillage that have been trapped under or on the base of the saucepan and then going hard.
Please also bear in mind to make sure that any spillages of sugar or high in sugar spillages are removed immediatly as this can cause pitting on a ceramic hob.

Thank you for getting back to me!
I did have some burnt spots on the hob and managed to remove this with a hob cleaner.
But the other ‘markings’ are what you probably said and are pittings. Tiny bits of ‘black colouring’ from the hob surface have come off!
From now on I will clean the hob much more regularly.
Do you know if their is any product out their that can restore these pitting marks?

Hi Doron
Once the ceramic is pitted then…thats it i’m afraid.
If you do have this problem in the future then it would not normally cuase a problem unless you drop heavy things onto it.
