1st rinse light is brushes or as miele call it a module, just check armature aswell. Also check motor wiring as this breaks or rubs on chassi.

Yeah, like he says likely to be worn brushes, easy peasy, take off front panel, i normally tip machine back a litle, take motor “module” (end cap)off you should then see brushes, if worn replace, clean armature.
Careful locating pins when re-assembling.June 4, 2007 at 8:02 pm #215916tanner

hi all,
just returned from this machine and the brushs are good, check motor wiring and continuity, check connections to main board and it still fills then drains while flashing the rinse light it seems that as soon as the motor is expected to work the rinse light flashe’s, i have gone with a main board but to be honest can’t be to sure any feed back would be good.

Hi
I know the WS5425 used to get loom damage in the bottom right. May be worth a look 😀 The loom may read ok with panel in a different position when testing. 😕

worth also checking that it didnt go unbalanced and pinch wiring somewhere in the loom as it danced

speaking to the customer she had a duvet cover in there with a load of towels after th machine tryed to go in to orbit she removed the said items from machine and found that all the towels were inside the duvet cover so the machine could not dispibute correctly.
she said when it happened it made her run out of the kitchen it has damaged the side board it was underneath so it really must have gone for it.
