    Hi Guys,

Just joined and need help!! Drive belt snapped on our Servis M6005 washing machine recently. Replaced the belt to find rattling noise which was coming from the drum. Removed the end cover to find bra underwire stuck between the drums!!!

To remove the drum end cover, I had to take the wires off the heating element and four wires off a small round black “thing” 2 wires were grey and 2 were white. When I reassembled the machine and switched it on, I blew up the module!! I dont want to replace the module and do the same thing to the new one. Does anyone have a wiring diagram so that I get the wires attached correctly.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Re: Servis M6005 Wiring Diagram

You have two chances here, and they both end in “all”.

To solve your problem, have a close look at the wiring to the thermostat. Two should be marked “TH” and two should be marked “90”. Using your test meter, two terminals should read damn near zero ohms, and two should give a reading in Kohms. The wires marked TH should be fitted to the high resistance terminals, the ones marked 90 to the low.

That’s probably as good as it gets, I’m afraid.

Next time, diagram or photograph, before doing anything.

    Power off, of course.
