    The freezer is working ok but intermittantly the alarm goes off , I have defrosted and started up again , the freezer gets to desired temp and a few days later starts the alarm again.Anyone got any ideas?.

    This freezer is electronically controlled by the front panel controls. A thermistor (electronic thermostat) measures the temperature and feeds back the info to this control board. Alarm sounds if the temperature goes above that required. Could be either faulty board/thermistor or inability of the motor (compressor) to get the appliance down to correct temperature or a shortage of refrigerant
