You can reverse engineer it if you have the funding. It’s not exactly hard to do, but if you were ever to plan such a thing you’d have to be careful not break copyrights. Not that I’d ever consider taking on such a project you understand.

Can we not put the software on a fileshare website like BitTorrent or something like that (anonymously of course) for people who could avail of it to share? I find I work on more & more of those Indesit & Hotpoint machines and I send away work every day that i could do myself if I had the correct software on my laptop ant the hardware key.

The software is not available, period. So far as I am aware it only comes pre-installed on a laptop and then the laptop is locked down.
Even if someone did reverse engineer it there would be a cost involved, programming time to do that sort of thing is either done by someone passionate enough to do it with the smarts or paid for. In either event I reckon there would be a cost.

Ok thats fine, i thought in would have come on a CD & could be shared, thanks for putting it straight, someone posted that there was a manual way of resetting the modules by a plug in switch bank sequence, anyone have any info on that?
