    Any recommendations for a new washing machine? I need a compact washing machine that is about 850mm high and 550mm wide. I would quite like to get one that i can mount a door on, but is no biggy.

    Hi Jeff,

    A standard machine is 850x600x600, occasionally a bit shallower but extremely rarely any less width than 595mm.

    Hi Jeff

    Only two options really a slimline top loader such as the Whirlpool AWE6515 which are 40cm wide, however these are higher than the normal front loaders so they will not go under the worktop. Or there is the Zanussi ZWC1300 compact front loader which a small 3kg load machine at only 50cm wide.
