New Whirlpool Washer (is it a sealled for life drum?)

Just bought a Whirlpool washing machine model AW0/R 4205 does this machine have a sealled drum, the reason is recently the previous machine was a servis and the bearings failed and this was a drum that could be taken apart to get to the bearings. If in 3 years the bearings went on this whirlpool model would they be replaceable or not.

Just pondering if i should take the extended 5 year warrenty from whirlpool (5 years at £106) to cover parts and labour.

If i took out the warrenty would it include bearings and board failiure or just things like door seals and motor brushes.
