Hotpoint WD420 No spin

Hi there, My partners been out to a hotpoint WD420 goes through the wash fine but on the final spin it distributes, then switches the pump off, and that is it apart from the odd tumble. It doesn’t switch the pump back on and doesn’t flash any lights to indicate a fault. He has done the usual checks but cant find anything unusual, is this likely to be a board fault.
