    FD 8202. Dishwasher has relay clicking noise coming from base when washing and after cycle finished. Sounds like a relay. does 2 clicks quickly then 2 further apart forever until dishwasher switched off at on/off switch. What could this be? ptc on wash pump?

    There’s only two clicky bits in the bottom – the alternator valve and the PTC on the motor. Got to be one of them?

    Module’s only live if the on/off switch is on – some sort of earth breakdown maybe? Undertray full of water?

    Looks like module always on re simons post Mr P 😕
    Worth checking the mains supressor and water ingress into water diverter on heater unit due to weepy o ring/s 😥

    Does the heater unit 484206 come with new o rings if found to be weeping? never had to do one before.

    489607 module received. Mod sheet saying wire might have to be changed from pin5 to pin7 of module. Appliances up to Kl12. Also after mod special circ pump control (sicasym) up to Ki12 must be switched off.
    Module config by pressing S4/S5 and switched on with HS and toggled with S4 so 1 with Sicasym or 0 without.

    What is this for?

    As far as I’m aware the Sicasym makes the drain pump start & stop/pulse to eliminate air blocks in the side tank – I’ve NEVER set any module to this system & neither have i had any recalls because of it so if you want my opinion – Don’t even bother with the Sicasym wiring change. Hope this helps.

    Thats interesting ! I’ve never had one go on me before (well not to my knowledge LOL) – You are right about the diagram though, makes your head hurt !
