    Hi,

Has anyone got any views on whether to go with a Carbon/Charcole filter or the more traditional exhaust extractor that will be piped outside??
As my nickname suggests I’m fairly clueless regarding anything DIY thats more complicated than paint and wall-paper. We’re doing our first home and our bilder says we should have a carbon filter. But basically, I trust him about as far as I could throw him (he has a history of trying out fancy wacky ideas on us), and I’d just like to find out which is really best.

Personally, I think expelling the air has got to be better than recirculating it into the room. I found one website that said basically the same thing. But as I’m not a builder or particularly up on these things, I don’t want to go shooting my mouth off without info to back me up one way or the other.

So any advice on this topic would be very welcome.

    Thanks in advance,
