KeymasterHi All
Do we all take advantage of the UKW website and Benefit from it ?
The answer there is YES !!!
So..If the site benefits your company or yourself and in the end saves you time & money and therefor makes you more profitable then surely it would be in EVERYBODIES interest to help fund and maker the site better for everyone.
If your registered for the repairs@ then the cost of one call a year would cover it.If your not then WHY NOT ?.
How many times have you chased round trying to find info or suppliers and asked UKW and i bet theve come up with the answer.
So come on you lot. If you want the trade to benefit give something back.
My Rant over..

you’ve got a point.
the only trouble would be the guys who are working for manufacturer’s etc,
i dont think they would want to pay, and they supply a lot of the inside info, but ido know where your coming from…

Hi
Its not the manufacturers engineers that supply the information That earns the money and makes a profit from UKW.
We as self employed and companies do make a profit from UKW so in my opinion we should give something back.

I am a relatively new member and have found the site extremely useful. It has indeed made my business more profitable and I would not hesitate in subscribing. I have not seen or heard of a subscription amount or method of payment. Please point me in the right direction.

Hi guys,
This is largely my fault I have to admit. It’s not something that I push and it really hasn’t been well promoted at all.
The reason is that I don’t want to “be in everyone’s face” with it as I’d far rather leave the choice to you as individuals to decide on what you want to do in regard to the subscriber section. There is an article about if from this link which will hopefully explain a lot but, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
The money paid into this fund is held in trust by UKW to help the repairers in general as they see fit for it to be used. UKW does not profit from this at all, not even remotely, as I just pointed out in the subscriber forum recently, it actually costs us money to administer it as we do it free for the subscribers.
But if you feel like joining the nuthouse and getting into some interesting and, recently, heated debate then sign up. 😉
