    Hi! I hope someone can advise me as to what to do with our built-in fridge/freezer which is icing up very fast. We’ve turned the setting to ‘2’ but suspect we should call an engineer out. It’s nearly 6 years old and has been great until this last week or so. It is defrosted regularly (but not as often as it should be). Thanks for any advice.

    Frosting up usually caused by either the door seal not sealing correctly, a duff thermostat or short of refrigerant/failing motor (compressor)

    Thanks for that quick reply – we’ll have a look at the door seal first as that seems the easiest.
