    this machine has no light at all on display except on/off light..cant select programs and door locks straight away as soon as you close door.cant get into diagnostic..ribbon cable and connections ok suspect pcb but wondered if anyone had similar fault cheers

    If your panel isn’t iluminated this mean you don’t have 5Volts==PCB is gone (power source on it).
    If open you can see black marks and perhaps burned pins on chip.

    Every communication fault I have ever had was cured by removing the facia, unplugging the PCB and cleaning the edge connector with fine emery. Then squeeze the plug gently with pliers and refit.
    If that fails, then Baron is right. New PCB. 🙁
