Customer just rung, has above machine with F07 on display. Supposed triac fault. Is this likely to be a goosed module and if so is something else likely to have caused it?

    Jim,
Sometimes because of condensation and poor programmer manufacture on motor connector (from programmer) is make shortcircuit 😈 between second tacho-pin and first brush-pin. If you open programmer case in that corner you can see the black marks and expoded circuit-lines.
Normaly should be replaced or can be repaired… 😉

Thanks Adrian, at around £212 list price for a new PCB I don’t think it will be replaced, I will go and have a look at it just in case it can be rescued. 🙂

You don’t need fascia PCB… only programmer.
