    Hi There,
    We have the above model bought in 2005 and recently the front control panel has completely blacked out and we cannot change the temperature settings. Can you think of anything else that will cause this or shall we replace the control unit straight away? We are in Turkey and as Whirlpool dont sell these over here we cannot find anyone that knows these models. Help!!!!

    hello there

    wat u need i think but qiuet sure is part number

    4812 217 78217 controlboard plus housing
    that is the controlboard on the back of the machine


    and also check on loose connections on top of door / might be on bottom of door
