hotpoint df dishwashers

    dont do much with these so how do I gain access to the sump or pump as this is a sealed base ?

    Well wilf they are the same as Bosch and many threads on the subject of access. The pump is accessed easily after removing the outer door panel and bottom panels. Not sure what you want to access as far as the sump is concerned though?

    But, removing the lid allows you to then removing the side panels. To get to the circl. pump or the heater requires the tub taking off it’s base first. And again much written in the tech forums on that subject. 😉

    If anyone tells you to turn it upside down by the way…… :rotl:

    You can access the pump impellor from inside the tub. Take out lower arm & filter.In the sump at around 8 o’clock is a small ‘L’ shaped piece secured by a single torx screw. Removal of this allows access to the impellor & flap valve. Watch for any bits of glass. 😉

    funny you should say about glass iadom.i recon 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of these i go on is glass jamming the impellor.amazing how it gets past that filter system.

    If you can take the left side off, pull the hose off the syphon chamber and pump into bowl. Have had a couple of re-calls due to glass / plastic stuck in this pipe.
