Fridge temperature is maintaining 4-7C whilst the freezer only achieves minus 8C maximum. I have checked the evaporator fan motors- all working OK. No ice is forming on the freezer evap. Is this a problem with the Refrigerant R600a?

    Hi

How old is this appliance ?. If under 2 yrs then Samsung will cover under warranty.

There may be a blockage but with R600a This is unussual as it does not normally cause restrictions unlike the R134a systems which was common place.

    Hi Aircon

Then open the system changing the drier and do a good vac out and regas with R600a,Its possible that its blocked if there has been lack of ventilation.

    Hi

If you havent used R600a before then it is highly recommended that you have an engineer who is experienced with R600a carry out the work as R600a Is highly volatile if not treated with respect (Like Myself).
