My mother-in-law’s Belling XOU 252 SF single built-in oven (approx 2.5 years old) stopped working over the weekend. Symptoms are no oven light, no fan, and no heat (on both oven & grill setting). However the clock is still working. First reaction is that the fuse must have gone, but as the clock still functions doesn’t that show that power is still on, or is there a stand by battery for the clock? Any suggestions as to most likely fault?(hopefully simple to fix)

    Hi

Check the timer is set to manual and not auto.

Yes that was all the problem was – she may have accidentally pressed a button – anyway all is well, and that has saved me an 80 mile round trip! Thanks for such a speedy response!
