Got a customer who is concerned about their drive belt on TD. Children in house are very poorly any way 😥 . She feels she has to try everything for them. Is their any info on this or when / if it was last used? Is told she should get special one made in America.
Can any body help me out on this one?

    Regards
    Simon

What are you on about Simon?

A special belt made in America? Asbestos belt? All belts that I am aware of are made of rubber and nylon fibre thread with no asbestos whatsoever. Why does this lady want to buy an asbestos belt? 😕

What dryer are we talking about here anyway? :con:

Ah Called out yesterday appears she has been reading a book written by an American doctor that says tumble dryer belts have asbestos in them unless they are made in America and the fridges/freezers leak freon gas which can make people in the house ill. Inspected freezers R134/R600 gas and indesit dryer is G71V. Book is a bit extremist.
TD is in the kids bedroom. Explained the damp/ fluff may be more of a concern.

I got paid for doing this 😯
