    Fault:

    Wash action but no spin.
When spin is selected it just sits there pumping out no drum movement at all.

took machine apart and checked parts and wiring. no faults found.

put back on spin and after 5 minutes it sprang into life.

since then the spin works. it distributes, ramps up/down, the full works.

has anyone had this fault before?
or what could it have been?

    ps;

what is the sensor on the sump hose for? (rinsing sensor?)
what is the unit at the bottom rear which has 2 orange wires going to it for? (pcb?)
why the two types of pressure switches?

Without getting into the test programme its hard to say, could be a dry joint on the board, especially around the relays or proccesor fault as they were a bit iffy sometimes, no doubt it’ll re appear 😉
The sensor in the hose is a turbidity sensor and measures cloudiness like the ones on the dishwasher.
The two wires go into a module, i’ll find out for you, although i susspect its a suppressor, never had to chage one.
Some of these had a digital pressure switch, does it have small brown wires to it??

Cheers for reply. It has two pressure switches in it. old diaphragm type and digital type.

i assume this is the motor control board rather than the user board??

Theres two boards in the front on the facia panel, One with display and the other is operating module, it will be on this operating module that the motor relays can be found, the motor plugs directly into this board using an edge connector, sometimes a bad connection can cause these to arc and destroy the track under the plug, of course once you have located the motor connection on the board you can work out the relays.
Believe it or not the digital pressure switch is called an analogue sensor 😕

whats the “motor pcb” for at the bottom front of the machine if the motor plugs directly into the operating module??

    Re: wfr3267gb/04 fd8308700251

You are right, sorry my bad.
I forgot, its the 1600 with the brushless motor, the board at the bottom is a module for the motor, and has a transformer which is an inverter so yes, it would be more likely to be in that than the operating module.
The motor module staggers the voltage and frequency
The motor is a frequency controled asynchronous motor.
    Hope this makes sense?
