I’d like to know why this site has been saying that the ISE washing machine is now in the top 10 of Which’s best buys, when actually it’s not.
The statement is at the bottom of this page:

I subscribe to Which Online, which has no mention of the ISE in its Best Buys, in the latest washing machine investigation from June 28th 07.

Hi,
The ISE is not listed as a a Best Buy, but the remark was made that it narrowly missed being one.
I thought better of posting material that is copyright of Which though, I don’t think they’d be best pleased if I reproduced their report to people that don’t buy the magazine.
However, here’s the list in order of the top ten machines from Which:

Na, Which are totally independent and rightly so. They won’t change what they’ve published unless there’s a glaring error as that is their opinion.
It can be annoying at times when things like that happen, but that’s life.

What I mean is that if the ISE machine really is in the top 10, then you should get them to update their online list.
Or maybe it’s now dropped out the list since the June magazine was published.

No, both appear to be different entities in some way, it’s very confusing actually and we have tried to talk to Which? but without much success it has to be said. 😕
The online review was published about two months before the publication of the magazine too so it would appear to have gone up instead of down.
In any event there’s little point in complaining to have an independent review altered as, if someone asked me to do that I’d be less than impressed.

Well, if you don’t want your machine to be rated online like it is in the magazine, then that’s fine.
I’m not saying you should ask them to alter their review, but if the Top 40 singles chart said that Madonna was number 1 on the online rundown, but said that Coldplay was number 1 in Top Of The Pops magazine, then something somewhere is wrong.

Not at all, I emailed Which? about a couple of factual corrections on the online one that have never been put right and no reply received either. Strikes me that if that can’t be done then trying to do anything about this is probably futile.
