    Ariston Margherita 2000. AWD 125.

    Water is dripping from filter. A panel comes off on the front at the bottom, and should be able to turn lid anti-clockwise to open, but it does not come out.
    Water only started dripping when I tried to open filter to clean (cos could here noise which I thought may be coin (or similar) in filter)
    I didn’t use excessive force, in case that’s what you’re thinking!

    Help would be appreciated

    Something is jamming it from the sump hose side. Vigourous shaking may release the object, failing that you’ll have to drop the pump underneath and dismantle the whole thing.

    Power off, of course.
