    Hi
    been asked to quote for a drum bearing replacment on the above, have not come across this one before. has anyone done one and if so whats the procedure and how long should it take me

    Hi,
    dead easy, 2 or 3 screws under kickplate and front comes off, then front of the tub. Around 90 minutes max.

    A point worth thinking about, if the original bearings were in a bad state there is a possibility that the drum shaft will have been badly scored this can then lead to oil spots etc. not what the customer wants and at £50+ makes for an expensive repair in total. Also don’t forget to replace the tub gasket (as opposed to door gasket) if you are renewing the tub as they are not supplied automatically. 😯

    Much the same as Hotpoint 95s, front plate comes off.. Be careful when taking off frontplate that you don’t misplace heater support clip & on reassembling be sure heater is in support correctly.
