    Re: turning dial problem

Three flashes is a problem with the temperature sensor. It may be faulty or out of circuit.

Reset procedure normally is – switch off, set dial to a dot position, switch on, wait for the flicker from the lamp, switch off and reprogramme. If the dial keeps on turning, pull the plug and wait five minutes.

Power off if you intend to investigate the problem internally.

Tried the reset,it did not work. Can I bypass the temperature sensor to prove that is the problem or do I just replace it as it is not an expensive item.
    Thanks.Paul

If you have a multimeter, the sensor should give a reading in kOhms. It is p/no C00081653, about £7 from memory – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get one for you promptly.

    You can’t by-pass it I’m afraid.
