Have just registered having noted assistance from Penguin45 on error codes for this machine. Last autum ours stopped part cycle and started flashing seven times, pause etc. (just to be different). Also beeping. Couldn’t get it to reset. Left it powered down till Christmas (don’t use it that much anyway) meaning to have a go at fixing it then. Powered it back up and it was OK and worked till just after new year then same fault. Left it powered down again till a recent rainy day but this time problem still there. Took drain pump and softener off and checked for blockages etc. but all looks pretty clean. Washed filters and powered up OK. First programme ended prematurely and second attempted reverted to error code after short period. Have checked sensor in sump but all looks clean. Any thoughts or is it time to get rid?

    Thanks

This is to do with the flow meter in the fill tank on the side of the machine. It’s a turbine device and generates electrical pulses for the computer to read. 9 out of 10 times, removing the connector, giving the edge of the pcb a good clean yo remove any oxidisation and the connector a good pinch before refitting will cure the problem.

However, the device itself can fail, which requires the side tank to be replaced and in a few instances the probelem can lie with the computer board.

You will have to get the machine out for access – good luck.

Power off,if you plan to investigate this yourself.

Many thanks – I’ll give it a go.

Apologies for not searching enough before posting. I did afterwards and noted that you’ve effectively answered this a number of times, albeit on other badged machines. So thanks for giving me a straight answer when you could so easily be fed up with repeating yourself.
