    sorry guys but if my door is possibly causing the electrics to trip, what and how would i be looking at to check/repair,…. or do i just replace the door lock??

    The door lock switches all the necessary power through to the ‘business end’ of the machine so it’s more likely there’s a problem elsewhere causing the power to trip when the door lock completes the circuit.

    The only way to establish this, and so find the fault is to test it for earth leakage with an insulation tester.

    Disconnect before doing anything if you’re having a go yourself. :zap:

    Which breaker trips? Plug sockets(short) or RCD (Earth leakage)?

    Its the RCD on the main board, any common faults with this model Bosch logixx 1400 WFR2866GB/1 ??, or plan of action?

    Only a Megger meter will tell. Repairs @ for an engineer methinks.
