    Hi,

I purchased an AEG B2190 on ebay with a fault – in the hope I can repair it. The oven works fine but the cooling fan does not stay on after the oven has switched off. The rest of the oven appears to work fine though.

I am guessing this is a fault with the cooling fan controler? But I would have thought this fault would cause the oven to cut out when it gets too hot? but it does not.

I guess I need to run it and see if the cooling fan turns on at all but thought I would quickly ask here if the above symptoms sound like the fan controller.

The part I think it needs is: http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/product_ … cts_id=349

Any easy way to test one of these?

Thanks very much for any help anyone can give

    Ben

In case anyone is interested… 😉

I tested the oven lats night – and the cooling fan never comes on. The casing of the oven was not too hot – but the cooling fan thermostat was very very hot – so looks pretty likley that this was the cause! Have just ordered a replacement – so lets hope so!

    Ben
